Neurolanguage Coach® Licensed Teacher Trainer and team player on and off the court
Bio:
“I’m Blanca, your Neurolanguage Coach® and Teacher Trainer®, based in sunny Spain. But my journey has taken me across many parts of the world, shaping my perspective on language learning and teaching. Funny enough, I was once told that languages weren’t my thing—that I would never learn them. Fast forward to today, and I speak four. That passion led me to earn a degree in Translation and Interpreting, open my own language academy at 28, and spend years teaching (and learning) ever since. Curious about the role of emotions in education, I trained in Gestalt Psychotherapy, realizing how crucial emotional intelligence is both in life and in the classroom. But I still felt there was something missing. That’s when I discovered Neurolanguage Coaching®, became a certified coach, and eventually earned my accreditation as a Teacher Trainer in Spain. And because learning never stops, I’m currently deepening my expertise in metacognition, feedback, and neuropsychology to continue refining my skills. Now, my focus is on coaching English and Spanish learners who struggle to communicate in their second language, equipping them with powerful tools to boost their careers and personal lives. At the same time, I’m dedicated to training language teachers in key teaching skills rooted in neuroscience, emotional intelligence, and coaching, helping them transform the way they teach and support their students. I know firsthand what it’s like to transition from teacher to coach—the mindset shifts, the self-doubt, the need for clarity. That’s why, together with Ana Sánchez, a fantastic Neurolanguage Coach® and amazing colleague, we’ll be leading a workshop designed to help you navigate this transformation, break through limiting beliefs, and embrace your new identity with confidence. And when I’m not coaching minds, I’m playing basketball with my team, Más que veteranas. Because, at the end of the day, learning and sports share the same fundamentals: mindset, strategy, and the drive to grow. See you at the conference!”
